As my final year project of bachelor’s degree at Sheffield Hallam University, I developed the simulation of a virtual city environment applying game AI techniques used in games, such as pathfinding.

The aim of the project was to simulate a virtual city in Unreal Engine 4, implementing a traffic model for the movement of vehicles through the city, and a pathfinding algorithm to find routes between buildings. Furthermore, the aim was to simulate a huge city with lots of vehicles, hence the solutions implemented had to be efficient to reach the objective.
